Stores Clerk

Grade:               P13

Purpose of the Role:

An opportunity exists for a Storeman to join Isanti ‘s Engineering team, The role exists to effectively control goods received and goods issued through sound use of management systems and procedures, supporting customer satisfaction

Key Performance Areas:

• Receive stock
• Issue stock in line with demand
• Capture information to keep record of an accurate record of stock levels at all times
• Monitor stock consumption and report trends to inform decision making
• Perform cycle counts to verify stock levels
• Process documentation accurately and timeously
• Organise back stock items for increased safety and accessibility

Qualifications & Experience:

• National Diploma in Inventory/Warehousing at NQF level 5
• Valid Forklift certification
• One years’ relevant experience in an Engineering Stores
• Experience in a Manufacturing/Heavy Industry environment is required
• JDE experience would be advantageous
• Strong analytical, planning and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Organised self-starter
• Ability to communicate
• Computer literate
• Solid MS Excel skills
