Job Title: Stock Controller
Grade: PE08
Purpose of the role:
An opportunity exists for an experienced professional to join iSanti as a Stock Controller. The role exists to ensure that the flow of materials and finished products runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Performance Areas:
Inventory Management
- Accuracy: Maintaining precise and accurate inventory records.
- Stock Levels: Ensuring optimal stock levels are maintained to meet production and sales demands.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Supplier Relations: Managing relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials.
- Order Fulfilment: Coordinating with production and sales teams to ensure customer orders are accurately processed and dispatched on time.
Logistics Efficiency
- Storage Utilization: Optimizing the use of warehouse space for efficient storage and retrieval.
- Transportation Management: Coordinating transportation and logistics to minimize delays and reduce costs.
Quality Assurance
- Inspection: Conducting regular inspections of incoming and outgoing goods to ensure quality standards are met.
- Compliance: Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards.
Cost Control
- Budget Adherence: Monitoring and controlling inventory-related costs to stay within budget.
- Waste Reduction: Implementing strategies to minimize waste and reduce overall costs.
Reporting and Documentation
- Data Management: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of inventory movements and stock levels.
- Performance Reporting: Generating reports on inventory status, order fulfilment, and other key metrics for decision-making.
Loss Prevention
- Security Measures: Implementing measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of inventory.
- Stock Audits: Conducting regular stock audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
Process Improvement
- Efficiency Initiatives: Identifying and implementing improvements to inventory and logistics processes to enhance efficiency.
- Technology Utilization: Leveraging technology and inventory management systems to streamline operations.
Team Collaboration
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Working closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure alignment of inventory management with overall business goals.
- Training and Development: Providing training and support to team members to ensure effective inventory management practices.

Qualifications & Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in inventory management
- Manufacturing/FMCG Experience
- Glass experience will be an advantage
