Purpose of the Role:
An opportunity exists for a committed, conscienscious, and professional OHNP to join the company and contribute to the creation of a safe, healthy, and energising environment for Isanti employees and contractors.
The role exists in order to deliver quality occupational health services
The successful candidate will have solid nursing experience, good understanding of applicable legislation, excellent people skills and service orientation, as well as commitment to health care ethics.

 

Key Performance Areas

  • Provide occupational health care services
  • Delivery health care advisory services to the company
  • Ensure that all health and wellness deliverables comply with relevant legislation, company policies and standards
  • Contribute to the establishment of the company’s healthcare and wellness policies and procedures, and their optimisation where necessary
  • Identify health and wellness risks (health risk assessments)
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of health and wellness systems and programmes
  • Maintain and monitor health and wellness systems and programmes
  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to the establishment of the clinic budget
  • Manage costs within budget
  • Contribute to the maintenance of the legal register
  • Reporting (internal and external)
  • Care for the clinic facility and equipment

 

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes

  • Post matric qualification in Nursing Science and Occupational Health
  • A registered member of the South African Nursing Council, as a Professional Nurse and as an Occupational Health Care Nurse
  • Dispensing certificate
  • Have indemnity with SASOHN
  •  Good knowledge of statutory requirements and application thereof
  • Manufacturing nursing experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to use medical technology
