Purpose of the Role:

An opportunity exists for a consciences HR Officer to join the HR team and contribute to the creation of an enabling, energising environment for Isanti employees by delivering service excellence

The role exists in order to ensure that HR delivers quality HR services to Isanti employees by ensuring the integrity of employee information and processes, consistent application of Isanti standards, and by ensuring the integration and cleanliness of information stored on HR systems (physical and electronic)

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering efficient and effective HR administration, including systems administration

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Deliver required HR services across the employment lifecycle, including:
    • Recruitment and selection
    • Onboarding
    • Relationship management
    • Performance Management
    • Employee development
    • Talent management
    • Remuneration and rewards
    • Medical Incapacity
    • Exit management
  • Implement company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance by all parties
  • Establish procedures and SOPs
  • Advise line managers and employees
  • Statutory reporting
  • Contribute to transformation initiatives, ensuring that HR aspects of these initiatives optimise company results
  • Identify gaps from interaction with the business, and recommend solutions
  • Participate in plant forums as necessary, e.g., union/management meetings, EE Committee; making the contribution expected of an HR practitioner
  • Implement the iSanti Management System (IMS)
  • Process employee records in accordance with rules
  • Reporting

 

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Psychology/Human Resources Management or equivalent
  • At least 4 years relevant Human Resources experience
  • Experience in a unionized environment
  • Good understanding of employment legislation e.g., LRA; UIF, COID, OHS Act, Equity, BCEA, Skills Development, etc
  • Good understanding of the HR activities entailed across the employment lifecycle
  • Solid HR administration and payroll understanding
