Job Title: Cullet Plant Technician
Grade: P10
Purpose of the role:
To effectively monitor, control and analyse the process of recycled glass processing to cullet in accordance
with quality process specifications and safety standards, through the optimal application of the Isanti
management system.
Key Performance Areas:
• Demonstrate commitment to Zero Harm
• Maintain, operate and control Cullet Plant processes in line with established standards and routines
• Monitor cullet silo levels always to ensure they are within prescribed parameters, and to ensure
continuous production.
• Monitor the quality of the incoming cullet by checking incoming loads, ensuring they meet the
company’s specifications
• Efficiently and effectively resolve operational issues
• Responsible and accountable for the quality of the final product coming out of the plant
• Ensure that inspection machines are operating correctly
• Manage cullet inventory in collaboration with Furnace and Batch Process Operators
• Adhere to Health and Safety measures e.g., wearing safety and protective equipment.
• Adhere to approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), routines and policies.
• Respond to all plant triggers that result in plant stoppages and escalate in an event a problem could
not be resolved.

Qualifications & Experience:
• N6 and trade test in Millwright
• Minimum of 3 years management experience in an Engineering or Manufacturing environment is
required.
• Process Control knowledge.
• Knowledge and understanding of SCADA.
• Technical Engineering background is desirable.
