Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the Senior Business Analyst, the role exists in order to provide technical IT support to the business, optimising systems uptime, ensuring successful product and solution delivery, as well as continuous improvement in line with business requirements

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable and consistent track record of documenting requirements and acceptance criteria at multiple levels

 

Key Performance Areas:

  • Evaluate business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions
  • Stay up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems
  • Perform requirements analysis
  • Document and communicate the results of gap analysis
  • Effectively communicate insights and plans to cross-­‐functional team members and management
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports
  • Work closely with clients, technicians, and employees
  • Provide first line support within scope of responsibility
  • Provide training, coaching, and guidance to employees
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs, requirements and priorities
  • Perform user acceptance testing
  • Update, implement, and maintain IT procedures
  • Serve as a liaison between IT stakeholders and users
  • Monitor deliverables and ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Comply with company rules, processes and standards
  • Adhere to project management and system enhancement standards
  • Regular reporting

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in IT or equivalent
  • Business analyst certification
  • ITIL foundation an advantage
  • At least 3 years IT experience
  • At last 1 years in manufacturing/FMCG/heavy industry
